He won't, but the kid is no doubt freakishly athletic. Looking forward to seeing him in person.

He won't,

Good response! I look forward to seeing Washpun as well! Kadeem had 3 dunks in 19 minutes. WSU had a total of 6. Kadeem dunks a lot.

I look forward to seeing him too. We have a somewhat similar player. Frosh Devon Thomas. He's listed at 6' 0" and probably a shade under that. But he's as fast as any Bears player I can remember and he won our preseason dunk contest. He (Devon) really needs work on his jumper though which could limit his minutes this year. Should be fun to watch those 2 go at it over the next few years.

Out of a timeout in the second half, Jake drew up a back-screen lob from 6-10 Tuttle to 6' Washpun and he hammered it down.

I agree, I doubt he'll lead the league in dunks but he had 4 or 5 in the 2 exhibition games which is definitely something UNI fans are not used to seeing from our entire team in two games so it is understandable that they might get carried away thinking it is unusual to see. Tuttle has shown a willingness to dunk if he has a path, Nate Buss as well, and freshman Jeremy Morgan took one hard to the rim and got fouled so was unable to finish the dunk (went off the back iron as he got undercut). I think Morgan and Washpun will both add that element that James/Sonnen didn't do on drives to the basket.

I don't know a Panther fan who would disagree with you. For the first time in a long time we don't really have a senior player that is looked to as an impact player. Rank will be important but no one is mistaking him for a Johnny Moran, Kwadzo or our trio from last year
[Insert snappy comeback]

This.

UNI will contend for a conference championship next year. This year is all about developing talent and finding chemistry.
