The white knights are really out in full force I see.

No "hard on" here for slamming Muller- I made one post on the matter, and responded to three very aggressive follow ups. I can see it is an issue that gets folks' panties in a wad so I will lay off it for a while.

Hopefully more Redbirds fans than the ones on this board are swayed by Muller's youthful energy- he will need to improve on their home opener attendance of 4300 if he wants to keep the lights on.

The ironic thing is that the most defensive poster isn't even a Redbird fan.

How convenient that you continue to pay no attention regarding the departure of Nic Moore, which left us without our second best player and no starting PG.

I actually love Dan's hire and look forward toward him putting his stamp on this team.

You mad, bro?

Only those close to a program usually have a real sense of how good or bad things are and even they don't often have the full story.

Almost everyone on here and all of the media picked ISUR second last year. Shocker fans didn't promote them. Everyone did. Maybe they didn't have as much talent as everyone thought.

As an aside, the Shockers were overwhelmingly picked 5th and Shocker fans didn't agree but we're shunned by most of the league. That was the past but if you don't remember past mistakes, you are sure to repeat them.

A little bit. We're clearly a program that is down, and have been for a while. It gets old having to defend our coach and players at every turn and it seems that most of the ire comes from shocker fans.
I understand the issue with your coach and our team, but dang.

Gonna be fun when we see you in January.

Lighten up, Francis. Your fans haven't caught one-tenth of the crap that would've been tossed on here if Knight played for WSU or Creighton in the last few years. People are treating you with kid gloves and mostly not bringing it up at every turn because your team is terrible- it's about as much fun as tossing jabs at the Cubs.

I suspect your frustration is aimed more at your own program's failures instead of those who point out its shortcomings.

Wichita State fans got more crap for Marshall than ISU is getting for Muller. He was way overpaid, way over his head in this conference, and a horrible hire. Which is pretty close to what we're giving Muller right now. Just take the punches and make us eat a ton of crow when Mulller makes the Final Four in 5 years.
