I have not seen an official, but I would bet that in order for a Loyola player to be considered as a new comer that he could not have played for Loyola in 12-13.

I would also not be surprised if they were out of the running for any pre-season awards.

As far as newcomers go, Michael Middlebrooks is making the most noise for us. Knight and Lofton who we all thought were going to easily be our best players are leading in PPG but have low shooting percentages and have struggled from the field.

Coleby is averaging 6 and 4 plus a block per game in 19 minutes.

Carter is averaging 5 and 4 in 14 minutes.

Lots of work to do for these two, although 11 and 8 in 33 mpg isn't awful.
