SIU/Loyola an entertaining game down to the last second. Jackson from SIU had a big game--31 points. Not much of a crowd--stands looked about 1/3 full--no one in the second level or in the end zones.

Just got back from the game, great crowd there from SIU, not much of a crowd from Loyola. Their students showed up but they had little alumni presence there. Of course it's still really cold in Chicago and the roads still suck so that could have played a role. Entertaining game though. Glad SIU got what might be their only Valley road win of the year.

After reading the loyola fan forum about how they thought we were a push over its nice to see siu beat loyola. It makes it even better that desmar jackson dropped a career high 31 points on them. There were also more siu fans than loyola fans at the game which is quite sad
