Evansville. Just saying. They have won the games they were favored in and lost the ones they were not. Nothing embarrassing about that. Just because Middle Tenn St isn't a household name doesn't mean it was embarrassing.

Sorry but they play in the freakin Sunbelt and that makes that an embarrassing loss. The only exception there might be a loss to WKU but that's it. I realize it's probably not embarrassing through the eyes of a Purple Ace fan but your standards are much lower than everyone else in the conference and if your basing your information over whether you are favored to win or not, then I guess you'll be fine with a 6 or 7 win season.

This is such a huge double standard. MVC fans hate the way BCS fans act toward our conference, with elitist attitude. Yet some MVC fans act the exact same way to lower conferences then us.

Now I am just asking, because you know I believe Evansville is going to be more than just a tough out this year, but I am curious if the DePauw game wasn't "embarrassing" or did it just not count at all?

Now take out Butler!!!!! :Yea!: :Yea!: :Yea!: :Yea!: :Yea!: :Yea!: :Yea!: :Yea!:

It was an exhibiton, so no it doesn't count at all. But yes it was embarrassing.

Seriously, where do these Sycamore fans get their expectations from? It's the same thing every year. There's a poll on their message board with preseason predictions. Most have em right around 4th with a few saying they'll be seriously "disappointed if they don't finish at least 2nd".. I know you can be homers on your own board but my God, that's some LSD Wasteland. :Shaggy:

If Indiana State finishes 4th in this league, than this league blows wayyyyyyyyy more than we already think.

Is there anyone besides WSU, CU, and MSU that doesn't have an embarrassing loss? IlSu moving up is probably more of a result of everyone else being horrible.

I am not disagreeing with anyone who puts SIU in the bottom 2 but they don't have an embarrassing loss yet (I stress yet). They have lost to Illinois and Northeastern who while not a name they were top 75 RPI last year and played in the NIT. Not a good loss but far from embarrassing.

My apologies, forgot about SIU.

For those predicting that ISU-Sycamores finish last……….PUT YOUR $$$$ WHERE YOUR MOUTH IS AND BACKUP YOUR IGNORANCE.

Where do you think they're gonna finish?

Barring injuries, I believe 5th, possibly even 4th.

So, you'd be willing to put your money where your mouth is? How about $50 that they have a date for Thursday?

I taste turnovers; lots of them.

Kelly is 3rd in the league in tpg (not counting Maniscalco) at 3.1. He follows only his teammate Dwayne Lathan with a whooping 3.6 tpg, and SIU's Teague at 3.3.

PS Internet messageboard bets for cash usually don't turn out too well, just ask Aces1982.

Actually, he did quite well. It's not every day you get a $500 free roll.
