I think a lynch mob is already gathering. Just a sad state of affairs at MSU.

The "lynch mob" is the mob avoiding the games in droves. When next years tickets don't sell the buyout should be much easier to swallow. There has never been any sign that Lusk was the guy that warrented the proctive action of extending and improving his contract that quick.

Missouri State deserves better, but I'm not going to be quick to blame Lusk here instead of Marcus. As a whole, I've thought Marshall was a less is more guy since day 1, as talented as he is.

They still have some solid pieces. If this isn't Lusk's fault, I'd be willing to wager they get 1 of the 4 games against WSU & UNI.

Without Marshall, I would happily take that wager.

Hard to buy the "less is more" argument when MoSt so woefully underperformed once Marshall went out last year.
