New UE assistant coaches

Lennox Forrester and Doug Novsek replace Carson Harris and Jimmy Elgas! Harris & Elgas have taken non D1 head coaching positions.

I think so. Novsek has been touted as an excellent recruiter. Lennox is coming in with head coaching experience and is familiar with UE & the Valley.

Both are well established and both have close personal ties to Marty.

Doug N. was a HS teammate of Marty's at Lawrenceville, IL HS and then went on to play at SIU. He then was an Asst ISU(Blue) for 5 years / 5 years at Southwest Texas State (now Texas State) / 3 years at ISU(Red) / 5 years at Nebraska and then 8 years at Univ of Nevada-Reno.

Lennox F. was UE player but his career was derailed by injuries so he assisted Jim Crews and then Jim Les at Bradley before following Marty as the head coach at SIU-E.

Hopefully all works out well for the Aces.
