Lyndal Scranton leaving Springfield News-Leader

Saw Lyndal mention it on twitter earlier tonight. He said that he accepted a buyout from the News-Leader and his last day would be October 31. Sad to see him good as I did enjoy his work and appreciated the time he gave us back in the days when we hosted the MVC hoops show.

He did a great job of covering Bears athletics and the MVC. His articles were always insightful and generally unbiased. Big loss.
