Haven't seen for sure whether it's on the Mothership or the Duece but regardless it should be an intriguing Elite Eight matchup.

Charleston was Marshall's home from '88-'96 where he learned the craft from John Kresse, who is now the AD.

Bobby Cremins, formerly of Georgia Tech, took the job after Marshall jilted them in 2006 and returned to Winthrop. Marshall recruited several of their players to Winthrop so he knows their personnel pretty well. Marshall and Cremins are good friends.

Sounds like Charleston is relatively small but has two dynamic scorers. The Shocker defense will have to slow them down in order to give the Shox a chance of winning.

Ticket sales are expected to be very brisk with higher attendance than the Nebraska game total of 7,336.

Game time is actually 6pm CST as a result of Washington State winning late last night.

A College of Charleston release stated that the game is expected to sell out.

The game is a sellout. It sold out before 3 p.m. today. There will be 10,506 raving fans at Koch Arena to cheer the Shockers to victory. Vegas has WSU a 7 point favorite.

good luck shox, in what has been a pretty horrible year for the MVC, getting a team to MSG would lighten the blow.

Getting ready to head to the chuck! This is going to be quite the atmosphere, hopefully the shox play like they are on the road. Not NCAA but this one should be lots of fun. Not too often do you have a home game to go to MSG for NIT. It's the JV tourney and my kid is playing, woot!

I have to say, the Shox and their great home crowd look and sound impressive on ESPN 2 tonight! Lively crowd and lots of energy from the team, great basketball environment!
