Who would have guessed that the same VCU team that needed a miracle whistle to win at Koch would be playing in the Final Four. Wow - just wow.

Parity!!

Mid majors have been put down for too long. Now we have 50% of the final four.

Mid major will play for the title for the second straight year. This is a great thing.

The Valley needs to step up in the next few years and make a run like this. Making a run at the final four/national title has never been more possible than it is right now.

“I guess the media must have gotten to them,” VCU guard Ed Nixon said of Kansas, which entered the game an 11-point favorite. “They must have really thought that they were just going to take it, like it was already theirs. Marcus Morris, or one of the Morris brothers, they were saying, when the captains go and meet, they were saying: ‘Y’all had a good run. It’s time for y’all to go home.’

“So they were very confident. Maybe too confident.”
There is no difference between basketball and life. Give both your best and ignore the "fans" on the sideline.

KU players (notably Sheron Collins and the Morris twins) did the same trash talking prior to the UNI game last year.

If mathematically possible, it just got less likely that KU will play WSU.

It is amazing when you think about it. How just a few plays against UCONN and VCU and the Shockers
could possibly have been in the same seat as VCU. Maybe next year?
Seems to me the way the Shockers are playing now they could beat anyone.
