Kyles - hadn't thought of him. You expect him to be better than Murry and Stutz?

I have never seen such a wide open race really...If Stutz played like he did during the NIT, he would be tough to deny.

The league returns the current POY. Will be an interesting test of "best player" vs "best player on the best team".

I have always thought that the MVP thing comes down to "Best scorer" vs. "Best overall" like"Nash vs. Kobe/Oneal" Which depends alot on taste of the person.

He certainly has the potential to be. Kyles, Murry, and Stutz were all horribly inconsistent last year and it's probably a crap shoot guessing which one of them (or if all 3 of them) will put it together for a whole year.

I'm not expecting BU to be at the top of the league, so their chances aren't great, but they have two players -- Simms-Edwards and Brown -- that could be in the mix.

Colt Ryan could also be in the discussion.

No, I know it goes against your whole "everyone discriminates against Odum" mantra, but it has not historically been a best scorer award. It has gone to a player on the first place team. Heck, Emmenecker wasn't even the leading scorer on his own team, let a lone the league, yet he won the award one year.
