Just wanted to drop in and break the ice here. I handle much of the social media for the Missouri Valley Conference wanted to be able to reach out to fans across the conference and to also let you know that there is an "ear" around. I'm always open for suggestions in regards to social media and the MVC website. Look forward to hearing from you all.

I'll also add that you can feel free to send me a message on twitter - @ddocket, which is my personal account but I'm also the user behind the Valley's Twitter accounts, @mvcsports and @valleyhoops. I'm sure you guys also know of the Valley on Facebook as well - http://www.facebook.com/MissouriValleyConference.

My goal is to ad more interaction with the fans. I know many of you are passionate about the Valley and we appreciate all of our fans as it is what sets us apart for many of the other leagues similar to us.

Here's an idea - lets use this thread to throw ideas around about what you may like to see from the league in terms of social media interaction or the website. I can tell you that I have a goal of doing more video content and features. All ideas welcome...

That is definitely something I've got on my list and actually have a plan of action in place. Hopefully you will see some major movement this summer on this.

How about getting a station on XM Satellite radio? All of the big conferences have one if not several... It would be nice to tune into a game from another MVC school while in the car....
