Odd, Joe Ragland shot 84.6% FT last year in Valley games, which would make him second on the list in that category. Not sure why the MVC stats missed that as he played the requisite number of games.

I thought I'd read that Dyricus Simms-Edwards had requested a release from Bradley. Not true?

Reminds you how versatile and good Kyle Weems is; top 10 in 8 of 10 categories listed. Some predicting a drop-off for Kyle this year; don't see it happening, he's having a great off season in all the little things you look for in your veteran leader. New staff and lots of new guys who will have to find their roles and develope chemistry, but Kyle will be surrounded by a very deep and talented roster.

I don't see a drop off for Weems. In fact, I expect his numbers will go up because the cast around him won't be as good and do as much scoring as last year. I expect MSU to be worse, but that doesn't mean I expect Weems to be worse.

I dont think the bears will fall of as much as some hope. With the return of Creekmore, Pickens, Scheer, and Weems they will be the early favorites. With only 1 or 2 total losses they will be a 3 seed in the dance and runaway from the opisiton on their way to the NCAA title. Oh, wait thats the Trees sorry wrong team.

The surrounding cast may be less experienced and proven, but not less talented, and we are significantly deeper and more athletic than last year. I have no idea how quickly this team meshes with a new staff and 7 new players, but talent won't be one of the limiting issues. I know hope always springs eternal in the off season, so we'll just have to see how this one plays out.
