Copeland and Thomas leaving Bear's Program

Postby BEARZ77 » March 13th, 2012, 5:10 pm

Sophmore guard Corey Copeland and Junior forward Corbin Thomas have both announced their plans to transfer following the completion of this semester. A pair of quality young men who just didn't find their way in Coach Lusk's system. Bear's who have 2 frosh redshirts in Dorrian Williams a 6'1 pg and Drew Wilson a 6'7 forward, have also signed 3 HS recruits , 6'10 Bruce Marshall, 6'2 Marcus Marshall, and 6'7 Gaven Thurman, and a juco, DeQuan Hicks 6'7. Bear's looking to add another 1-2 players , probably a juco point and a versatile wing type.
The Bear is the largest carnivore on the North American continent; beware the Bear!

It's a little puzzling that those 2 struggled to find their way at MSU. Like you said both seemed to be hardworking young men. And they seemed to have talent too. Just not the right fit I guess. I wish them both well.

Hopefully we can pick up a couple of good players with those open scholarships.

CC REALLY needed a redshirt year, but Cuonzo was a dickwad and wouldn't let him
