FINAL ANALYSIS
With nine of its top 10 players back, the Bluejays are certainly worthy of national attention. They defeated Alabama in first round the NCAA tournament last season before falling to North Carolina. This season won't be a success without playing into the second weekend. Creighton should navigate the MVC's 18-game schedule easily with its depth and experience and the team's offense should set a pace that is tough to match. If defense grows into more of a priority, the Bluejays are capable of going much deeper into March.

Fantastic that Creighton is getting so much positive national pub this season. Good for The Jays and The Valley too, but I do take issue with SI stating that CU should navigate The MVC rather easily.

There should be more than a few bumps in the MVC road, and don't you think that EVERY team in The Valley will be giving CU their best shot?

IMHO there are at least 3 or 4 teams that could make it more than difficult on CU. I would love to see The Bluejays have a tremendous season, but SI taking the rest of The MVC so lightly is a big mistake.

Okay, sorry for the interruption....ROCK IT MVC!!

I can't disagree with you at all. I didn't write the artical just reported it.

The Panthers and the RedBirds, especially on the road scare the heck out of me.

Kind of a diss on the league. I don't think any team has navigated the eighteen game schedule unscathed. The good news is that as long as teams take care on the non-con, Creighton should be able to bring up the ranking of a second or third place team.
