Dawgs won the earlier matchup between the two 72-55; this one being at home, I expect (hope) a similar result.

The cupcakes have tasted good so far this year, especially after the last few seasons!

Go Dawgs!

Why is SIU playing a home and home with a team that is just now transitioning back to D1?

No. I asked why SIU was intentionally playing 2 nonconference games against a team that was D-3 last year. I didn't ask what cupcakes tasted like.

Winning is better than losing, SIU and Bradley have been pleasant surprises considering how the rest of the MVC if fairing in non-conference...

Not to dwell too much on the Bears, but as Barry Hinson wins another game against a D-1 team, meanwhile, Bear-Nation is on full scale suicide watch. Missouri State fans are now debating the merits of black vs. white coaches. Embarrassing.

What is Barry doing and what has he done?

SIU had nothing - maybe less than nothing. Then didn't they lose some more before the season started?

Now it's the middle of December and the Dawgs are 5-2 with an RPI of 109. The Dawgs look like Barry may get them to Friday in St. Louis one way or another.

Meanwhile, in Springfield...what appeared to be more talent than Barry had in Carbondale...is there a Wednesday night game in St. Louis?

With what SIU fans had to endure the last 2 or 3 years, they deserve what Barry is doing for them this year. With MSU fans insisting on firing Barry after he didn't get an NCAA bid with an RPI of 26...they deserve what they're getting this year. Not the MSU fans who post here, but definitely the MSU fans who insisted on firing a winning coach.
