Fans in the locker room?

Seems like at WSU the last 5 years that there are always fans visiting the locker room before or after the game. Just this week, Gregg Marshall visited with the students who were in line to be on the front row for the Drake game. The first student in line asked Marshall if he could have 30 seconds with the team before the game, like X, AC and Aubrey Sherrod had prior to the MSU game. His request was granted.

Does this happen at other schools? Are groups of fans allowed into the locker room before and after games, home and away? I've never know this to occur before in WSU history but now it is commonplace.

This seems to be especially true after road wins. I've seen post-game locker room shots where the locker room was filled with WSU fans congratulating the team and celebrating with them after road wins.

Marshall even invites TV crews into the locker room.

I've been in the locker room after a few of the home game wins this year, i think Marshall does it to show players how much the fans back and support this team. It's a good atmosphere where coach usually gives a speech and talks about the next few days (practice plans and travel times), a couple players get up front and break it down and usually ends with a group prayer from the chaplain, then the players will meet/take pictures with some of the fans.
