Tim Tebow Talks To WSU

Tebow was at Mid Continent Airport when WSU landed and boarded the bus. Here is the video of him addressing WSU on their bus.

Say what you want about Tebow but pretty cool stuff from a guy who has seen some pretty big success at a collegiate levels despite the critics. Stand up dude and good role model also. I thought it was a nice gesture that he certainly didn't have to do

That is honestly pretty cool. A big thrill for the WSU players I would imagine. Tebow may never be an NFL star but he is/was a transcendent sports figure for a whole generation of fans. Plus Tim Brando thinks he could play for Creighton. So there is that.

I'm not really into Tebow's attitude - he seems a little "hoiier than thou", but...

...I don't think he'd go out of his way to congratulate a team he did not (or could not) respect. When Dickie Vitale predicts a Shocker win over Gonzaga, that's respect for the talent. When Tebow requests a chance to talk to the team on their bus, that's respect for the character of the team.

WSU fans are proud of this team for both their talent and their character.

Why? Because he is imperfect just like the rest of us? what is wrong with him trying bring "life" into people instead of "death". 2nd it doesn't matter if the man is a hypocrite, if the message is still true it is not diminished because the messenger is not able to live up to it. If we are held to the standard of perfection then we are doomed - the reality is we will be judged where our heart truly is.

I don't like the way that the media portrays Christians who are in the public eye. They want to make fun of their beliefs and you are buying into it. You don't know him. You only know the way the media portrays and publicizes him with sound bites, etc. They were more respectful to Wilt when he bragged about his sex life than they are to Tim Tebow about his beliefs.

Not for sure what is going on but as the Shockers loaded up today to take off to LA the Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Gus Bradley came aboard and addressed the Shocker team.
