Missouri State 247

Anyone been by the new Missouri State 247 board? It's the latest and greatest with an emphasis on football schools. Great recruiting info! Have your credit card handy.

Not sure which board you've been to but the new one I've been to will not have an emphasis on football nor did I need my "credit card handy".



With that said, it was a good move for the fanbase and I look forward to see what comes of it. It sucks it had to happen during such a slow period but that's probably better than trying to do it midseason. Just need to get the traffic back up

Yet another iteration of a Missouri State message board? What is this, 5-6 in the last 8 years when you count design and URL changes? And they can't even put a link to the new site on the old site. At least the new board can be looked at for longer than two minutes without my eyes retracting into my skull from trying to separate black, gray and maroon. So it's got that going for it, which is nice.

Sorry, I'm not usually this critical of message board administration, but whoever is running these MSU boards needs to set down some roots and stay awhile. And I'm having a bad day.

To be fair, a couple of those were out of our hands. The guy who ran our very first one moved on. The guy who has run it since has had different hosts back track on him and he's had to make changes on the go. Now, 247Sports contacts us and he made the decision to go.

I'm still only counting 4 but I may be missing one or two.

You're probably right and I'm sure I'm being overly critical. It just seemed for awhile it was changing every year and the design/readability got worse every time (except this last switch). But since I'm not a Bears fan, my opinion doesn't, and shouldn't matter on this subject.

You're probably right and I'm sure I'm being overly critical. It just seemed for awhile it was changing every year and the design/readability got worse every time (except this last switch). But since I'm not a Bears fan, my opinion doesn't, and shouldn't matter on this subject.

No worries man. I fully expect this to be our last stop and it should be. Just have to go through all the hard work of building the poster base back up and the awareness of the new board and how you don't have to pay a dime to get most of the access to the site.

I meant that 247 has an emphasis on football. Every time I go there it's pretty football dominant.
I guess I don't know what's what. I thought you had to give a credit card even on the "free" part.
