There is no difference between basketball and life. Give both your best and ignore the "fans" on the sideline.

Who cares?

Give him a 20th year for all I care, unfortunately they left and it has zero effect on any of the fan bases.

I disagree. I bet there is a lingering interest in CU for years to come among MVC fans. I for one will be watching to see how they do in the new league. Having both Doug and Gibbs is huge for them in their 1st post MVC year.

Does MSU have a secret game against CU this year?

If not then not sure how it would effect the bears. Guess when I said fan bases I should have said valley teams. Also when I wrote "who cares" I think I meant that more as a personal "meh" rather than an actual question, my fault in the way I presented it all.

My point was that since they left the conference and don't play my team any longer I don't care if someone gets extra time or not for Creighton. Nuetral feeling towards it as I don't wish Creighton well OR wish them ill. Just too bad they aren't in the Valley any longer.

I think it is interesting from a rules standpoint that their coach is essentially paying the tuition of their best player out of pocket so Gibbs can get a scholarship. Can you imagine what would have happened if Marshall was paying Armstead's tuition two years ago?

Otherwise, whatever.

Furthermore, Creighton news may also motivate people to purchase the premium Bear board to find out what is going on.

Where is it stated that it affects the Bears? I simply stated I (and I'm sure other members of this board) still have somewhat of an interest in CU. And the OP prefaced the topic as "non MVC". So here's a novel idea: if you don't care just don't read it.

Yeah because CU news has so much bearing on the Bears message board. :Bam:

I will be rooting for Creighton and pretty much every non- BCS team.

My guess is no one would say a thing if Marshall was Armstead's dad.
