BU- Can they pull it together and have someone other then WLJR shine?
DRAKE- Can the Dogs pull some upsets and surprise a few with people leaving?
EVAN- How will they return minus Colt Ryan?
ISUR- Can Muller rally a team with all new players except three (one not having played before)?
ISUB- Can Odom and company win at the Arch and make the tourney again?
LOY- How will Moser and the Ramblers adjust to a new league?
MOST- Can the young bears surprise?
UNI- Can Mitchell and Tuttle lead a JR dominated team (with 2 seniors)?
SIU- Will a troubled Saluki team pull it together and have a winning season?
WICH- Will the Shox live up to the pressure and win at the Arch?

I guess winning at the Arch is all that matters now, lol.

When was the last time Illinois State won at the Arch? How many times have they won at the Arch?

Will they be able to get to the Arch Final Four this year?

I don't get why your talking about ISU winning at the Arch when Wichita has not won the MVC tourney since '87

I would be embarrassed to answer the questions too.

Evansville has something that they haven't had in the last decade. 5 returning players at 6'7 and above.
They also have 2 players that have played on U-20 Gold teams in Europe and has a returning player in Europe playing on the USA team. They have brought in all-star players from Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky. Colt Ryan will be playing in Belgium next year Wish him the best of luck and may still hear from the Jazz or the Suns.

Evansville will be young next year with out any seniors. They will be one of the quickest teams in the Valley with new back court

I actually root for Evansville. They have been bad for a long time and I wish that they can make the big dance :+1:

Makes sense. They're like a likable version of Illinois State.

Bradley has also never won Arch Madness.

BU- Can they pull it together and have someone other then WLJR shine?
Yes

DRAKE- Can the Dogs pull some upsets and surprise a few with people leaving?
No

EVAN- How will they return minus Colt Ryan?
This is the mystery question of the year

ISUR- Can Muller rally a team with all new players except three (one not having played before)?
No

ISUB- Can Odom and company win at the Arch and make the tourney again?
Yes, but they probably won't

LOY- How will Moser and the Ramblers adjust to a new league?
The less interesting #2 mystery question of the year

MOST- Can the young bears surprise?
Yes

UNI- Can Mitchell and Tuttle lead a JR dominated team (with 2 seniors)?
Yes

SIU- Will a troubled Saluki team pull it together and have a winning season?
Yes, but a 12-win season might have to be considered a successful year.

WICH- Will the Shox live up to the pressure and win at the Arch?
No, but that shouldn't matter. If they're gracious and allow a second Valley team into the tourney, they will still be criticized for "never winning the big one".

BU- Can they pull it together and have someone other then WLJR shine?
MCB: Bradley's on the way back, expect surprises

DRAKE- Can the Dogs pull some upsets and surprise a few with people leaving?
MCB: Yes, they always do, maybe the WSU game at Des Moines this year will have to go to four overtimes.

EVAN- How will they return minus Colt Ryan?
MCB: They no doubt will have another Denver Holmes type that will ruin some teams evening/afternoons.
My guess is Marty has a handle on the Indiana shooter market.

ISUR- Can Muller rally a team with all new players except three (one not having played before)?
MCB: ISUR always puts something together, thinking they wont is asking for trouble.

ISUB- Can Odom and company win at the Arch and make the tourney again?
MCB: They may not win at the arch but will probably have someone that can handle Odom's passes and convert to make them tough.

LOY- How will Moser and the Ramblers adjust to a new league?
MCB: I'm predicting the Ramblers will be the biggest surprise, teams will be saying, they are tougher than expected. Will be fun to go to games in Chicago.

MOST- Can the young bears surprise?
MCB: Ever been to a game there? A hard place to win, they can make things happen, and probably will.

UNI- Can Mitchell and Tuttle lead a JR dominated team (with 2 seniors)?
MCB: I'm picking UNI as the big surprise this year for a successful season. Well coached, always seem to make things work. Their radio announcer will be "kabooming" a lot.

SIU- Will a troubled Saluki team pull it together and have a winning season?
MCB: SIU will make great strides, the staff will be getting their players, the fans are ready. SIU will be leading the league in upsets.

WICH- Will the Shox live up to the pressure and win at the Arch?
MCB: The Baker - Early mix will be tough. Will be interesting to see how off season improvements mature.
Valley teams will be looking to knock off a final four team, some will. WSU will be national champ caliber again and at large regardless of St. Louis.

Here is to a great season for everyone.
