I don't get it? One thread because a game made ESPNU?

Did I get that right?
USA Today Coaches Top 25 Poll Conference Breakdown:

MVC: 1
WCC: 1
Atlantic Ten: 1
MWC: 1
Big East: 1

The Big East is Big Time.

I was thinking the same thing
“I’m gonna punch you in the ovary, that’s what I’m gonna do. A straight shot, right to the babymaker.”

If we are making a list of TV games the Bears game at Louisville is an ESPN2 game. The only non conference game (excluding MTE) for the Bears on national TV that I can find.

I was thinking the same thing

Who will have more games on national networks this nonconference season: WSU or the rest of the Valley combined?

We've got four set right now, and I can't imagine the Saint Louis game won't be aired nationally. Davidson game is a possibility. What is the rest of the Valley likely looking at? I would hope the field wins that comparison, but who knows.

I actually thought Creighton had done pretty well last year with national coverage, but they only had two ESPN2 games prior to the conference opener, and one on the PAC12 network.

We've got four set right now, with zero doubt that Saint Louis will be on TV, and Davidson probably as well. What is the rest of the Valley likely looking at? I would hope the field wins that comparison, but who knows.

Depends in if you are including tournaments.

You'd have to, and it would probably put the field ahead.

Here's what I can find on the tournaments so far:

Indiana State in the Great Alaska Shootout (Looks primarily like CBS Sports)
Missouri State in the Corpus Christi Challenge (CBS Sports)
WSU in the CBE (Championship on ESPN2, Consolation on ESPNU)
SIU in the Gulf Coast Showcase
UNI in the Paradise Jam (Championship and 3rd place games on CBS Sports)
Bradley in Global Sports Invitational (CBS Sports)
Evansville in the Ohio Tournament
Drake in the Fresno State Tournament
Illinois State in Battle of the Bay

Of those, only the CBE, Paradise Jam, and Corpus Christi Challenge look like decent tournaments at all.

It looks like it only matters if you count CBS Sports Network in the same category as ESPN. WSU is the only team likely to play on an ESPN network in a tournament.

I'm not sure the original post was threadworthy or maybe sarcasm? But the game is fairly unique for UNI. This is the first home game for UNI on the ESPN family of networks that doesn't involve the MVC, Bracketbusters, Iowa, Iowa State, or the 1990 Mid-Con tournament.

The best non con 'get' of anyone. Hopefully the ville regret it. More likely, lets hope we don't look silly.

Not everything I post is sarcasm. Part of the fun is keepin ya guessin. I truly think this is a real nice match up and am excited for it.

I mean, I know this thread isnt about making a guy out to be bigger then THE VALLEY as a whole or the shock going undefeated but this game is IMO thread worthy.
