LUC up one with ball called for charging in the back court. SIU-E scores on an unguarded lay-up off the in-bounds. LUC doesn't get a shot off at the end of regulation.

yeah, it'll be some sort of last second play by SIU-E to seal their fate today.

Mark Phelps coached Drake to a loss at home against Edwardsville a couple years ago. If the Ramblers can't win this game it's going to be a long season. I thought Loyola was supposed to be decent. What is the problem?

They are trying to compete with last year's Missouri State.

Guys, too early to form judgements, regardless of wins or losses.

well, Loyola doesn't need to worry about losing a big lead to SIU-E, they're already down at the half 35-33

MSU up 2 on Hampton early 18-16

If you are losing to the worst teams in the country in your non-conference schedule, then I think it safe to "judge" that said team pretty much SUCKS.

Lyndall Scranton (MSU writer for Springfield News-Leader) says that two Bears have been injured in their game. Kieth Pickens and Marcus Marshall both suffered knee injuries in the first half -- no clue on severity yet.

MSU leads Hampton by 15.
