Drake @ Colo State 12/1 MVC-MWC Challenge

Bulldogs coming off a bitter 1 point loss in which they showed great improvement. CSU returns one of their starters who was suspended for the 1st 3 games of the season.

I hope Van Deest is healthy for DU (was playing with severe GI problems and dehydration in the last game). He had IV fluids before the game and at halftime, and apparently puked several times during the game.

I just one to see continued improvement from DU and a competitive ballgame.

Drake up 6-5 at first media time-out. Rice with 4 points, 1 assist, 1 block so far. He's apparently leading DU in scoring, rebounding and assists for the season.

Drake getting killed on the boards, and has not gotten to the line yet.

Rice with 11, Van Deest and Alexander with 6 each.

12 for Rice, 8 for Van Deest. CSU outscores DU 11-2 in the last 2 minutes of the half.

Drake missing wide open 3's repeatedly and giving up layups....down 47-38 at the first media time out of the 2nd half.

Now CSU hitting wide open 3's instead of layups. Bulldogs down 54-44 with 12 to go....at least Phelps called a timeout this time before a 6-0 run becomes 16-0.
