Tweeted by the AD yesterday. Not really shocking given the financial predicament that Moates created with the buyout guarantee he gave two years ago. Hard to feel too good as a Bear's fan other than it does appear to set up the most talented roster we've had since Martins MVC Champs, as speculation was with the current young roster and current commits administration did not want to have to start rebuilding again by losing players if they canned the coach. A little ironic in that one of Lusk's down falls in addition to being a terrible in game coach has been retaining talent.
With talent like Church,Kendrix,Dixon, Miller, and Kreklow returning, the possibility of Ruder getting back and being added to a pair of juco 6'7 forwards and 6'5 top 100 pg Greg "Boogie" Williams, and supposedly we have another top level scoring juco combo guard in the mix if Lusk was retained, it should be at least interesting. Clearly he has to produce next year and as evidenced by the juco flurry, he seems to recognize such.
A lot of moving parts to assimilate, which has never been a Lusk strength as he is too impatient and indecisive with his lineups in the past when he had more options. We should look good coming on court, from there who knows.
