DU up now 42-33 with 15:22 to go.

Key is keeping Seth Van Deest on the floor. DU was outscored 21-9 after he went to the bench with his second foul. They're outscoring EMU 33-12 with him on the floor.

Drake wins 58-54. Not anything to write home about, but I'm happy with any road victory at this point.

Win #3 on the season guarantees that Phelps will at least tie Kanaskie's victory total from his second worst season. Yep, 3 victories for the whole season was only Kanaskie's 2nd worst year.

I just looked at the box score.

Attendance was 693. How does a team stay in D-1 (MAC) drawing less than 700 people to a game?

I remember back in the late 70's when iowa State had less than 200 people at a game.
