Foreign Trips

Looks like two Valley teams will take a foreign trip this summer. Teams can go every four years.

Bradley is going to London and Amsterdam July 29-Aug. 4. SIU will go to Cuba Aug. 5-11.

43-23 Braves lead at half over the Surrey Scorchers of the British Basketball League (though it's not their full roster).

Announcer says Childs lead in points at half with 12 and Boya leads in rebounds with 5 (3 offensive).

Bradley won 73-66. Elijah Childs had 20 points. He is going to be a good one.

SIU leaves in a few days for Cuba. The Salukis will play three really hard games back to back to back. Coastal Carolina and Louisiana - Lafayette have both gone to Cuba the last few years and are a combined 1-5 there.

In Cuba, unlike almost all other foreign trips, teams play the actual National Team. Not a group of guys called the National Team. While Cuba's National Team isn't strong on the world stage its still a major test for D1 teams.
