Missouri St at home

Is putting up one embarrassing performance at home thus far. Valpo is taling it to them and Ford just looks lost. Guess absence of Obediah Church is showing big time

46-24....yikes. Ford said that they look like a middle school basketball team.

Maybe Valpo has turned a corner; pretty impressive first half.

Ford to me was undeserving. Never seen him lead a team to NCAA tourney. Bradley and MO State have had the worse home showings in conference play

Saw him a few times before this year when he was at Tennessee St. and he mostly underachieved there also with some of the talent he had. I thought at the time he was hired that it was interesting hire for Mo St.

Can any MSU fans shed some light on the Obediah Church situation? What's going on there?

It's a mystery to us as well. See below. No one knows what is going on except Obi and coach Ford. Ford has repeatedly said Obi is welcome back at any time. But something happened. I think part of the equation is that Obi has physical problems (knees) and wasn't playing well before he left the team anyway. I suspect Ford was going to reduce his playing time? And that would be tough for a senior to take? That's just conjecture though.

I hope he comes back and doesn't go out like this but my suspicion is that he's done.

Another year and tv guide still says “from Hammons Student Center in Springfield, Mo.” :buddies:

I'll admit, this is the first time I've ever heard someone say he underachieved at TSU. Sure, I guess one could argue he has so far here (I wouldn't) but I don't see how you could at TSU. He had as many winnings seasons in his time there (2) than they had in the previous 20 years combined.

He knows what he is trying to build this first year and it revolves around the culture, not wins and losses and I am perfectly ok with that.
