Favorite MVC Fight Song

With Arch Madness approaching I wanted to do a poll for favorite Fight Song. Ideally you wouldn't vote for your own school here, but if you genuinely think it is the best, then go for it. I find myself with many of these fight songs stuck in my head every year, particularly at Arch Madness.

Today, my vote is for Illinois State, it just gets you hyped, short and sweet.

I have always loved UNI and that one would probably be #2...SIU is also catchy.

Having played in the Bradley band, I'm partial to that one obviously. As far as other's went, I've always enjoyed UNI's fight song. Honestly, it was the only other one I knew off the top of my head. After listening to them all, ISU is probably 2nd of the other's on the list (and it kills me to say that).

The other's were not really memorable at all.

I've heard them all....Of course, I'm partial to Go Southern Go, but a close second is Indiana State's song, March On!

I also like when their band plays Wabash Cannonball.

I can't move passed my bias here. It's ILST hands down. Not long or repetitive like many of the other school's songs. My second would be UNI if it is cut off after the first part. No need to play it twice. I think Bradley's is the worst. :lol:

Here's my first bias: if you don't have a good marching band or pep band that can play it with gusto, then it doesn't matter how good the words are or catchy the melody is.

On that basis, the best fight songs are UNI, Illinois State, and Missouri State. SIU is below those, but in the same territory.

My second bias: I was in Missouri State's marching band for four years. There's no way I can pick anything that beauty of a fight song.

Northern Iowa all the way.
I have attended many tournaments in St Louis and Northern Iowa always wins the day with their fight song.

A lot of these sound like WWII propaganda film sing-alongs. SIU, Drake, Evansville, MSU are just awful. I hate to say it but ISUr is pretty good, and so is UNI for sure. BU, naturally, is the most sophisticated and catchy. Layered sounds and a heck of a tune when you hear it live at Carver at full volume. It's no wonder ISU fans hate it.
