I certainly hope Belmont gets an at-large. The Bruins really missed their starting center Mussinski (sp?). Ankle sprain. Adelsparger played well but is a clear step down in talent.

Side Note
Valpo and Bryce Drew recruited Adelsparger hard before he committed to Belmont. Derrik Smits was their second choice.

Am I the only one thinking expansion is a pipe dream? We know how Elgin handles this, they threw out the possibility of 12 teams to make people happy but realistically they found their 10th already and everyone has calmed down on the subject. I just don't see it happening but I really hope I'm wrong

The NET for Belmont started and finished the day at #41. Murray now sitting at #52.

Do any of you understand how NET might effect seeding and at-large selection? Will the Power 5 conference tournaments push Belmont out of the picture?

What proof do you have that Belmont was ever offered a MVC spot, applied for one or turned one down? It's message board gossip and you take all of it as gospel.

Murray just put more fans in the Ford Center than UE did at any point this season, and the Aces were among the Valley attendance leaders. The OVC has a much better shot at 2 bids than we do, and we are on the verge of giving our auto-bid to a sub .500 team. I think they both might turn us down right now.
