Why not just go all in on Todd Lickliter, Paul Lusk, or Marty Simmons.

I bet Mullins is kicking himself. Chicago or Carbondale? I'd laugh so hard if he takes the Loyola job now.

Apparently Cluess has a $2M+ buyout, which is part of the reason St John's hasn't offered him the job.

Probably for the best. He's already 60 and he hasn't exactly been killing it in the MAAC. All of his tournament appearances have been with double digit losses and 7/9 years he's had double digit losses...in the MAAC...

Move on. I understand why he was a candidate there because he has ties to St. John's but the Loyola board is saying they should get him if Porter goes. God, NO!

Yaklich
Drew
Mullins (just for my shits and giggles)

Done with list.

I'd take six NCAA tournament trips in nine years with the assumption of double digit losses in the tournament over a lot of other alternatives.

He’s been killing it in the MAAC more than any other program in a conference but Kansas in the BXII and New Mexico State in the WAC.

Losing in the NCAA Tournament as a perennial 14-16 seed from a low major doesn’t reflect his coaching ability. Hard to win when you’re up against Duke, UNC, Oregon’s Final 4 team, etc in Round 1. NMSU hasn’t won an NCAA game either and Jans is universally considered a good coach.

Jans is killing it. 30-6 and 30-5. Like I said, double digit losses 7/9 seasons.
