Why is every player on the Loyola roster "rising?"

Don't worry. They don't show any of the signs of continued success. They had a great run when the stars aligner and good for them taking advantage but they aren't going anywhere anytime soon. None of us are. I'm highest on MoSt long term.

Basically, I believe in Ford. So, it might be short term for the bears. Then it's side open. I used to think ISUr but I've lost complete faith in Muller for letting Yarbrough run the program into the ground

I've never understood the use of that term...and especially not for five different dudes in the same article.

I suppose you could argue that all players are "rising" as they continue to practice.I usually hear it used with regard to an uncommitted recruit.

"Rising," as used in this article, refers to their class year. As it is summer, they are considered "rising" to the next level. E.g., Lucas Williamson isn't a junior yet, but he will be when fall semester starts in a few weeks. Thus, he is a "rising" junior.

I'm not sure how they do not show signs of continued success when they are recruiting at a much higher level than when they made their run...

That means absolutely zero until (if) they produce. Until then its nothing more than a participation ribbon. It's not really a higher level unless they produce...just perceived higher...not unlike 90% Redbird board who think every player that comes aboard is the savior. Keith is going to be so good. Taylor is definitely coming back to score double digits. Torres is the point guard weve been looking for even though he cant seem to stay at a school. Abdou is going to be so good even though hes 135 pounds. All that crap.
