Tied at 8 with ?? remaining in the first half. SIU is forcing LR into taking some poor shots. Clean up the TO's.

I'm watching on the ESPN app. The last 45 Saracen Casino commercials have convinced me that the Valley can't afford not to invite UALR.

SIU was pathetic. They should have won that game by double digits but waited too long to make adjustments. 23 turnovers and I'm beginning to question the head coach.

I still think Mullins will make a quality head coach, but I tend to question why he was the only real candidate ever mentioned publicly for the job.

Tim Miles was available the same March that Mullins was hired. He had been successful at North Dakota State when they were transitioning to D1 and had more success at Colorado State. His Nebraska teams were competitive in the Big Ten, which is more than most Nebraska coaches in recent memory have accomplished. I know Mullins played in the mid-2000's and was associate HC at Loyola, but there didn't seem to be much of a search.

Not saying he is the wrong guy because I think Mullins is very capable, just pointing that out.

Luke Yaklich and Dane Fife were the 2 other names I heard for the job. I'm guessing Yaklich eventually gets the ISU-Red job if he can show some improvement at UIC.

I loved the Mullins hire and I'm not out on him yet by any stretch but what happened when Domask went out last year and what happened tonight are giving me concerns. Tonight was his worst coached game at SIU, it was awful.

With the non-con they’ve put together MSU cannot afford to lose SEMO at home. Down 4 at half.

Evansville was terrible tonight.

For UE to compete against these stronger teams, UE must shoot well especially from 3. They were terrible. 26% overall and 27% from 3.

Weak defense, too many turnovers, out hustled, out muscled, out rebounded, out competed.

Returning starters have not improved over last year. Guards Givance and Newton will be ok, the others are just not going to be competitive against these athletic teams. They haven't in 4 years, they will not this year.

Inside game was about as bad as it could be.

Tonight, the Aces looked like the same old weak UE teams us Aces fans have seen for far too many years. Pretty much the same weaknesses every year. They looked like a team that will struggle to win 10 games.

Boo Coach Licklitter. Based on this game, you failed to get this team ready and you failed to recruit at the level required in the MVC. Hope things change for the better.

Missouri State just can't stop SEMO. SEMO is on the verge of winning.
