Who coaches SIU next season?

Now that the Nagy experiment has come to an end and we see he is definitely not the answer to restore the program to greatness, who does SIU hire for next season. Again, i hope they have the common sense to hire the great mistake of 2012 and rehire Chris Lowery. If not, I expect us to continue being a mediocre to bad program just as we have been for the past 13 years. Hopefully, Naga is fired tonight so the great speculation can begin this weekend.

I see that some opposing fans want Nagy to continue as coach. You must realize that the only way your mediocre programs can continue to possibly win MVC championships is if SIU continues to accept below mediocre performances (from below mediocre coaches). I hope you've enjoyed the last 13 years as it may end next year depending on the actions of our athletic program. If not Lowery, name another strong candidate to replace Nagy....I'm open to suggestions.

Probably a dumb question, SIU fans is this guy for real or just a complete troll? I would question if Nagy is the answer but Lowery sure as hell isn’t

He's been doing this forever. I think he made an account on the K-State board when Lowery was an assistant there and was posting there under Dean_KState.

I realize he's been doing it for a long time, but is he really serious about it, or just a long running troll?

I've seen this guy for a long time. Finally looked up Lowery's record. I thought Les' decline was bad. Yeesh, what's this guy smoking?

I can't believe its been over 24 hours since yesterday's loss and Nagy still has a job. I guess myself and hundreds of thousands of other SIU alums will be able to keep their donations to the basketball program for another year. It's amazing how much money this school has sacrificed over the past 12 years in their quest to stay below the mediocrity line. One day, I hope they will pick up the phone, give Lowery a call with a sincere apology and a lifetime contract offer.
