CU at MSU ESPN2 Saturday

May as well get this thread going. Should be a great game on national TV.
I'll go with MSU winning something like 74-69

I'm going to say Echenique has a monster game and the Jays feed the big man all game long for a 25 and 15 kind of game. Jays win on a buzzer beater.

I think the real difference maker in this game is the Jays bench...If they can consistently rotate in players I think that will be hard on MSU...I thinK MSU will pull it out tho!

CU has no chance. MSU discovered the secret in the second half in Omaha. Spread the floor and drive to the basket time after time after time. MSU scores 45 in the paint and beats a demoralized CU team 75-56. :(

That's what we heard heading into Omaha...Didn't keep the Bears from outscoring the Jays by 23 points in the last 18 minutes of the game...

I expect a good game but the Bears should be in control for the most part. Through the grape vine I heard that a couple of Bears went straight to the gym after getting home from Terre Haute to work on their shots. I think they will be more than ready.

Really excited for this one! Hope Springfield actually shows up and gives the guys a nice crowd on ESPN2. I think this could be a tough one for the Bears, but coming off the loss I would imagine a very inspired effort and a W. 18 game home winning streak on the line and could be the 4th straight win over the Jays! (Haven't been able to say that probably ever)! If the Shox, also coming off a loss, play the way they should and pick up the W, then the Bears will be back alone in first place!

No way! Won't happen! Close game that might just go the Jays way.

Hard to imagine after the Sycs ran them into the ground and had their tongues hanging to the floor they had enough energy to get off the bus. ;)

All of them did Ricks called for it and the whole team went in and worked on dribble drive defense and put up some shots. You would have to look along way to find any team in the country that haas that kind of resolve. They are 18-23 yr olds that took the hate and fire the end of the game gave them and put it to work for them. Good luck to CU on sat. but it doesnt sound like it will be real pretty.

Limiting offensive rebounds and making some treys will be the keys for the Jays in this one. If they can do that the game will be close. They still might not win it but they won't get blown out of the place.. Hopefully they can get an early lead with this and put the doubt back in the minds of the Bears.

And of course avoiding another second half meltdown would be nice.
