Does anyone know the ticket sales, or which schools have which sections?

Only number that surprises me is MSU, they've been near or at the top of the MVC and they are pretty close to St. Louis relative to everyone else, they need some more fan support.

Not sure Where those numbers come from, but the number being floated around here is 800. Regardless, MSU fans are not known to buy all session passes, and the proximity to STL is part of it. Bear fans are much more likely to drive up and buy scalped tickets or single session tickets and only attend the sessions the Bears are playing in. Once the Bears lose, it's back to Springfield.

Anyone who's been to the tourney in the past has likely noticed MSU fans are widely spread throughout the arena rather than tightly bunched like most of the schools.

That team with the 3rd most ticket sales doesn't surprise you? It surprises the hell out of me.

How many years are we contracted out for the scottrade center? I would like to see the event alternate at a different location (maybe the allstate in Chicago if we can't get into the U.C.)

I honestly don't see Elgin ever leaving St. Louis. If the tournament were to relocate, it would be KC, not Chicago. Maybe if Wichita State left the Valley, Chicago could happen.

The contract was just up last year or the year before. Depending on who you ask, they either seriously considered KC, or just used KC as leverage to work a better deal at Scottrade going forward, but I think we're locked in there for a few years now.

It's been one of the best attended tournaments in the country. Why move?
