1 bid league looking like a lock

The Shux let the whole conference down tonight with another home embarrassment. This officially kills any chance of at large hopes should they fall in st.louis. no quality non-con wins and 3 home losses in conf, including one to a play-in team equals win in st.louis or its NIT. really disappointed in the 2011 flagship team tonight

It was their possible at-large to lose, so when you say they let down the whole conference, that doesn't really make any sense. They earned it and then they lost it. simple enough.

If MSU wins out and gets to the finals, they can still get one. They'll be the clear conference winner, and they'll have a bunch in a row before their last loss.

its a stretch and seems like we keep going over these scenarios every year now that we have become a one bid league. I wouldn't count on it. Besides, the redbirds will probably beat MSU at home. :twisted:

I have said it before, but I like the Horizon to get a couple in this year instead of the valley.

Quit getting so wrapped up about numbers. If MSU wins the MVC by a game or two clear and is on a multi-game winning streak going into the tournament, they're in the discussion. That's all we're talking about.

It is hard to believe how this conference went from arguably the best non-BCS conference to where it is now.
