Should be hell of a match, JQH is sold out and there will not be a co-champion. Best team will win the regular season championship outright.

Shockers playing for second regular season title in 5 years, And are playing for undefeated road record in MVC. (when is the last time that happened?)

Bears playing for first regular season MVC title in school history. (I think the only team that has not won it, right?)

Some people don't put too much stock into the regular season championship, but I think it means a lot. Especially playing in a true round-robin league like we do, we really do crown true champ. Over the long grind of the MVC season, I think this is a great achievement.

I'm excited for this one. ESPN2 right? What time on Sat?

I'll be rooting for the bears. If we make it to friday in st. louis, I would much rather be playing them than WSU (you can take that as a compliment)........when we are out, I cheer for WSU.

LOL, I was hoping for a WSU win for the same reason.....I'd rather see Drake play MSU on Friday, assuming they beat Bradley on Thursday. Not a knock on MSU, I just think Drake matches up better against the Bears than they do against the Shockers.

No offense taken. I said 2-3 weeks ago that Drake was one of the teams I wanted no part of come March.

I agree. Everyone talked about BU being that "team you didn't want to see," but I think that team is Drake. We didn't want any part of them on Thursday and I think we lucked out by getting the salukis. Drake fans might be able to make an argument that they are playing way below their talent level because of coaching. Maybe they catch a spark. That being said, I think BU matches up better with them than we would have and we match up better with SIU than BU would have.

It's going to be an interesting tourney and fun to watch. There are no guarantees.

That might have been true earlier this season, but now. The Bulldogs have won 5 of the last 7, with the 2 losses being close games at 3rd-place Indiana State and at 1st-place Missouri State. 'dogs are playing well right now.
