A well rested CU is just to much for UNI. Although like all year I'm sure it will be a close one at the end.

Considering UNI's recent struggles without Orear, I like CU's chances. The problem is that the Jays perimeter defense is poor and UNI can win games by shooting the three. If Young and Echenique can stay out of foul trouble, I think CU wins. If Kwadzo flails all over like a moron the way he did everytime he was touched on Saturday, who knows?

I think Kwadzo Ahelegbe has at least one more huge game left in him. And he has excelled at this tournament over the years.

I absolutely think UNI could be the sleeper in this tournament. They are extremely well coached and seem to do best when everyone else has counted them out. I have not counted them out, I think they will be a force to reckon with against both of my teams. Yes, they have lost 6 of their last 7 games, but I watched them against George Mason and I think they are starting to adjust to life without O'Rear. The target from their back has been removed. Watch out for UNI.

Jays 71
Panthers 60

I think Antoine will win the point guard matchup againts Kwadzo. Gregory will have a break out game with a double double and own whatever big guy's UNI has left.

First team to 60 wins.

I'll take the Jays by 5 (66 to 61)

If Echenique scores in double figures and the team shoots better than 70% from the line I like our chances.
UNI wins if they hit more than seven 3-pointers and Anthony James scores 14+.
