I know it's early, but with all of this talk about teams not scheduling hard enough and the fact that it is keeping us out, I was wondering what everyones non-con schedules look like so far for next year. Ours looks to be improved (Thank God), but I would still like to see some more challenging teams on it next year. Maybe once everyone has contributed, we can compile one list for the conference and keep it updated.
Redbirds
vs. SIU-E (cancun challenge @ home) Nov. 14-19
vs. Lipscomb (cancun challenge @ home) Nov. 14-19
vs. Rutgers (in cancun) Nov. 22
vs. Richmond/Illinois (in cancun) Nov. 23
@ Fresno St. (replacing MWC challenge) Dec. 3rd
@ Morehead St. (return BB from 09-10)
vs. UALR (last part of 1 for 1)
vs. UNC-W (last part of 1 for 1)
vs. Bracketbuster (should be at home) Feb 17-19?
vs. Western Mich (this was the BB from this year so it could get pushed back a year)
-By my count this would leave us with 2-3 games left to schedule depending on the Western Mich. game. We don't play UIC this year so there has been some chatter about us possibly starting something up with Loyola. This feels like the first time ever we have not been completely in the dark about our non-con schedule. Jank and staff seem so secretive when it comes to it.
