Great Idea, but also something that would involve a lot of research and development and would go a tad beyond me. But thanks for the suggestion.

How about posting some fan videos from youtube on the website, like UNI's Interlude Dance for example?

Creighton has a lot of videos on youtube that were done by NET that first appear as halftime pieces. There is a game of H-O-R-S-E between Wragge and Korver, a piece on all our Iowa boys, and (this would be out-of-date) Bahe's Altman imitations. However, if they are already on youtube, do they also need to be on the MVC site? I would guess that the other schools would be as interested in the above as I would be to see UNI's dance again....just saying.

No problems with that at all. Actually encouraged it a few times during the year on Facebook and Twitter. Wichita State Fans did a great job of sharing photos from the NIT with us. I normally promote this on Facebook and Twitter. We've got a solid following on both, but it seems like fans are slow to respond.

Any ideas on how you guys would like to see this promoted? I'm open to suggestions.

Maybe a fan video contest, with the finalists being shown at the MVC Tournament and voted on by the fans? In the other thread I suggested a fan "trick shot" contest, but maybe that could be just one theme, with different themes being offered each year, or maybe different themes during different seasons of the year?

If you go with the trick shot idea, I would suggest requiring the video participant(s) wearing their team's t-shirt or something to make it obviously MVC.

Is there a way that we can see the top 20 or however many plays from the MVC tourney that were shown in St Louis at the tournament. Having things like that available would be sweet.

Not sure if you are talking about the plays that were the Top 20 from the 20th Anniversary or just the top plays from this year. But yes, just as TylerDurden said, there are many on the Valley's YouTube Channel from the 20th Anniversary year.

I'll fill everyone in on two different items that could possibly come very, very soon:

I'm looking at possibly doing weekly chats on the site. My question - what days/time do you all think would work best? I thought about targeting a lunch hour so I could potentially get "guests" involved but it may be better to do it during the evenings so more fans can be involved. Any thoughts?

Also - I'm experimenting with possibly doing an online radio show, dedicated to Valley sports. We'd do a 30 minute or 1 hour show that would also allow for fan call-ins as well. The thought right now is to possibly do this 2 or 3 times a month and make Saturday mornings (10 am CST?) the time frame.

Feedback welcome....
