I can't wait until Lowery is gone so SIU can be good again.

I flipped a coin and picked SIU last.

I could rationalize picking BU higher with the return of Taylor Brown and the potential "new coach bump." ISU red was the other team I considered, but decided that Carmichael could have a huge season.

I went the same direction. BU should trend upward simply because last year went south due to unexpected events. I fear that SIU and ISU could be situations where the coaches are so tied up in worrying about their jobs that they lose their teams.

Indiana St. is one Odum injury away from finishing in the bottom half. In fact, if he has a sophmore slump you will finish in the middle. It's too early to start bragging.

I think ISUb is middle of the pack at best right now, Odum is good but he has yet to prove he can score from outside 12 feet. I suspect teams will have a defensive plan for him this year just like teams did against Leonard this past year. 2010 he made 103 and in 2011 just 86, it is just like in baseball a rookie pitcher had the advantage of mystery. Odum does not have that anymore, the valley now knows Jake is gonna drive, jump and look to pass first. Only time will tell where the trees land but it will be below their fans expectations.
