For some reason I thought it was pretty much a given that Wragge would start? Isn't he a deadeye shooter? Are there questions about the rest of his game? I'm not criticizing your player I'm just curious.

A guy for the Bears who might not have a big stat line, but who could make a huge difference is Mike Bizoukas, the 5th year pg transfer from DePaul. I had pretty well assigned the starting pg position to incoming juco Anthony Downing, and he has not dissapointed in his play. He is very athletic, has a better shot than Ricks, and is more controlled and purposeful with his penetration. But Bizoukas has been surprising and is the type of pg that just makes everyone better. He has good size and strength, great vision, plays excellent defense, and is more athletic than he appears. The Bears have scorers, and Mike is the type of pg who scorers love to play with.
The Bear is the largest carnivore on the North American continent; beware the Bear!

For the trees, Kitchell is the key in my opinion. The back court rotation is pretty much set from last year. Kelly and Carter graduating hurts from an experience standpoint, but the guard/swingman positions are the ones that ISUb carries the most depth in right now. Inside the paint is where we get beaten up. Walker is strong, but we'll need Kitchell to really step in and be strong right away with good minutes at the 4 and the 5. If he plays well, Carl can move to the 3 - his natural position - and we become a much better team. If he's an interior bust like many of our recent big man recruits, ISUb will once again have to play a 4 guard game and will have a really tough time finishing in the top half of a stronger Valley in 2011-2012, imo.

For Bradley, many of us fans believe that Walt Lemon will have a big impact under a new system. He also had a great summer polishing some features of his game. If he plays under control, he will bring a lot to the program. Maybe he can even give us a scoring threat from outside that we desperately need now that AW is gone.

There is some question as to whether he has the quickness to defend the guards that so many mVC schools start at the three.
