These 6-7 and 6-8 "difference makers" in the post Evansville is turning to this year.......Are they juco or freshmen or redshirt freshman?

It is unusual for first year post players to have a big impact, especially in the Valley. If the Aces have that kind of talent, then they should go ahead and punch their dance ticket.

One of the guys off BlueJay Banter last night is not high on WSU's chances. He could be right....they lost a ton from last season. But they have a few pieces coming back too.....tough call. Everybody knows Gregg is the worst coach in the league, so I'll pick WSU 4th.

Man, who woke up all the UE fans?

I bet it was all of our college football teams losing this past weekend. I know I'll be waiting til next year for the Fightin' Irish to put on a real show...

I like UE in this 4th place slot. UE's "2.95" wins over InSU last year may happen again, but UE will have grave problems with Echinique and Stutz, even discounting the rest of the talent on WSU and CU. A team who loses 2 at home will have a tough time being top 3 in the Valley.

UE was only missing scoring and rebounding from the 4-5 hole and they have brought in two 6-8 and one 6-7 who can provide this power. They can provide scoring, rebounding, quickness, ability to run the floor and something other than 1 point and the flop. Add to that the top 3-pt shooter in Illinois and they have the mix to be the #3. Maybe they will and maybe they won't, but I gotta believe a lot of Valley coaches are worried about playing them this year.

71, I suggested in the 5th place thread that Sawvell and Rokas would be all Valley at some time in the future, and got hammered for it. Hope your enthusiasm is not treated in the same manner. After thinking about it some more, I really should have said that they have the POTENTIAL to get to that point. I said it then, and I say it again, the Aces will go as far this year, as the freshmen will take them. Yes, I know that relying on freshmen is like playing with a loaded gun, but these are talented guys. Anyone who thinks that the Aces won't have an inside game this year is quite ignorant of the facts.

Even with all that, I don't think they will make top 3 this year. Just my opinion.

Colt Ryan scares me and at times has really had Creighton's number so I voted for Indiana St.

True freshmen, all of them.

Wow. I just don't see how ANYONE, at any D1 school, can predict a lot of success counting on true freshman post players. Guards, maybe, ok I can understand that. But post play is a different animal.

If UE finishes 3.......prepare for the rapture.
