If some of the redbird recruits pan out, ISU does look solid on paper. Cousins was a player many in Wichita wanted and JC, Ekey and Wilkins will be a good front line. Biggest worry is that you'll need about 4 newcomers to play a major role this season.

SIU wins the valley if

1) The Brazilian national team shows up in Carbondale and enrolls
2) The other nine MVC teams boycott the regular season because Sycs have proven all that matters is three days in March to be considered successful.

Won't. I'm not saying it can't happen, as the pieces are there....just very new and not in the correct place as of now.

However, just for S&G's UNI wins the conference because Coach Jake is the best X's and O's coach in the Valley and is able to exploit other teams weaknesses while minimizing the effects of UNI's weakness's on the court.

I'm not sure where that is implied in his post. He even admitted that we will not win the Valley, which most of us agree with and we just hope we can just stay close to the top 3 with all of our youth. You troll enough as it is with the Shox, are you going to start with the Panthers now too?
