I'll vote for Ben every year. Wouldn't trade him for anyone.

My favorite coach in the valley and I am not even a UNI fan.

If Chris Lowrey doesn't get fired at the end of the season, he HAS to win COY! He's doing something right if he continues his tenure as SIU HC.

FoY could be Nic Moore or maybe Jordan Threloff (depending on playing time).
NoY Brown at ISU could be in the running for this since we are depending on him for scoring. (my guess is it will go to a shocker or Jay though)
PoY will be McDermott.
CoY will be McDermott.

Has there ever been a time in the valley where father/son won Poy and CoY? I feel like this might have been discussed last year.

For Freshman of the Year, UNI has a whole crop that could contend: Nate Buss, Deon Mitchell, Marvin Singleton, Seth Tuttle, Chris Olivier are the most likely. I'm hoping at least three of those turn into solid regular contributors with at least one showing star flashes. Any of these could also figure as newcomer also, but I think that will go to a juco or transfer player.

For Most Improved: Austin Pehl, Chip Rank.

For Player of the Year: Anthony James or Jake Koch.

If UNI has players in serious consideration for two of the three awards, then Coach Jake will be right up there for COY because it will mean that UNI is contending yet again.

Is this serious? I didn't realize UNI was going to dominate the conference this year.

Did you note the modifiers? Never once talked about dominating, all about possibilities. Unlike some who wish to just be handed things because they feel they have some sort of 'legacy' claim.

That's a lot of "what ifs." You should post that in the "Why my team will win the Valley" thread.
