Texas Tech hasn't looked great this year either barely squeaking out a win in their last one against UNT by 4. The Sycamores will win this game. Period. No ifs and ands or buts about it. They are much better than TT and it will show on Thanksgiving. It will take a good effort to beat Minnesota in the 2nd round though...they have some great talent. Anyways, this tournament is huge for the Sycamores and the Valley.

Go Sycamores!!!

What kind of fan does this to their team? If they beat TT it will be oh well a win over a team you said was a pushover. If they lose you will never hear the end of it. TT is a BCS team that is undefeated. IDK how you can say its a lock the trees will win. I'll be rooting for them but this is why tree fans are hard to swallow sometimes. If they are so much better than TT than why do you need to come on here and tell us the trees will win? I dont see Creighton fans coming on here telling us its a lock they are going to beat Campbell.

Good point. I think it's a little fear being smelled by Sycamore fans, but their supreme optimism needs to balance this out. (???)

As much as I want the Valley to do well, it is becoming difficult for me to root for the Sycamores with the way some of their fans act. And I don't think Im the only one on this board who feels this way.

:+1: 3 Years ago I would have never agreed with a Jay's fan.

I want you
I need you
But there ain't no way I'm ever gonna love you....

Two out of three ain't bad. I don't know what 10 out of 12 is.

It's funny how only Feardatrees does this kind of thing but then he magically turns into every ISU fan when everyone reacts to his threads....

On one hand, Indiana State's wins over Ball St and UW-GB are actually pretty good wins compared to the RPI killer wins that some MVC schools have recorded so far. On the other, I think many people here hoped that they would see a Sycamores team start really strong and prove that they would be near the top of the Valley. While you can't do better than 4-0, even many Sycs fans have acknowledged that they have yet to really "click".

The game against Texas Tech will be an interesting test. Frankly, it's a game that an upper level MVC team needs to win competing against a lower level BCS team.

Some people have jobs and can't troll on a message board all day. Sorry, I have a life that doesn't consist of arguing with people who disagree with me. I think I can speak for most ISU fans when I say I don't care what you think about our fanbase. We have a team that made it to the NCAA tournament last year and is 4-0 to start the season this year. We might seem a little over confident at times but that's just who we are. Deal with it......and Jays26..you sir, are a tool.

Yep, we have jobs. But for some reason, I'm off until Monday!!! My kids had a half day today and I was home waiting for them. Oh yeah, Thanksgiving week, no work!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have had more time to post in the last 12 hours than I have had in months. I've made a few jokes but have tried to convey an opinion. With that, I wish you all a very happy and safe Thanksgiving. Keep the turkey fryers from exploding, boys!!!

I will skip the jpeg of the turkey fryer catching the garage on fire. Okay, maybe I'll post it in a day or two!
