UNI exhibition

[Khan4Cats]

Second exhibition game saw UNI beating Northern State 69-48.

Tuttle led UNI with 13 points and 6 boards in 18 minutes. Koch had 11 points, 6 boards, 2 steals and a block

Mitchell had 9 assists to 1 turnover along with 9 points and a steal

Off the bench, Buss had 7 points in 12 minutes, Martino 7 points and Rank 6. Olivier pulled down 5 boards and had 2 blocks in 10 minutes.

Turnovers were down, defense looked better, offense was smoother as the starters played more. Still working the reserves into the mix. Buss and Olivier look like they will provide nice minutes as reserves along with returnees Rank, Morrison and Martino (who showed some flashes of even having some sort of offensive game). Bohannon hasn't gotten his game shot to fall but has shown a better concept for the defensive end.

First regular season game will be against D-III Wartburg College from nearby Waverly, Iowa and should serve as a third pre-season game.
