Great effort from the Panthers. Held ISU to 2-18 shooting from 3, some of it an off night and forced shots at the end, some of it UNI defense. Carmichael had a double-double at half but couldn't do it all himself, 19 points, 15 boards. UNI with 19 from Tuttle and James and 16 from Sonnen-all in the 2nd half).

Different starting look for UNI with Mitchell being benched for being late to shoot-around, went with James and Sonnen at the guards, Koch at the 3, Tuttle at the 4, and Pehl at the 5.

And yes, UNI still has virtually no shot an at-large. (I say virtually because the only chance they have is to run the table the rest of the way and that still includes 3 games against CU and WSU).

This makes up for the home lose to ISUblue and puts UNI back to where most Panther fans thought they wouldnbe 3 games into conference play (1-2).

Our next two games our at home vs BU and Evansville. We should be 3-2 going into our game at CU.

Like I said above, spread scared me off thank goodness. If I had known that B Allen wasn't going to play, I would have never even considered it.
