Bradley finally found a way to slow down Jackie Carmichael. Thanks Dan Muller. Now I see why they lost 6 in a row.

ISU is going to kick Bradley's ass in a couple of weeks in Normal. I hope they enjoy it because it is going to be at least a couple years until it happens again.

Good point BCG. Wow is Dan Muller a hot mess as a head coach right now. Yikes. You are also right ISU will win by 25 in Blo-No but who cares. Probably the best win of the Geno Ford era in a game BU had to have.

Walt Lemon, Jr. was the best player on the court. Career high 27 points and five steals. ISU couldn't guard him. Simms-Edwards had a big second half. ISU shot lights out and got happy from three--meaning Carmichael hardly touched it in the second half.

From down 25-9 to a six point win. 55 second half points for the Braves. I am pretty amazed Bradley is 5-5 at this point of the MVC season. Walt Lemon is a first-team All-League player.

It'll suck when I take the trip to Normal, but I'll try to savor my Bubba Burger from Brew-Has during the beatdown.

ISU had so much more talent on the floor tonight. I don't know what is going on there, but I'm enjoying it swirling clockwise.

It sucked that ISU seemed to make every three point shot they threw up (13 of 24). However, since that kept guys like Wilkins and his invisible defense in the game, I'll take it.

Yeah, I think ISU will smoke us in Normal like most BU fans do, but last night was fun. Bradley was clutch down the stretch, and ISU was laughable in all their turnovers (23 of them). My favorite was the pass to the person in the 5th row behind the ISU bench.

Not sure I am amazed at 5-5 considering how we played in non-conference, but impressed nonetheless.
This was by far the biggest win in the new GF era.

Come Feb. 1, we will actually be playing meaningful games! Not that we're contending for the title, but with each game, we have a shot to jostle for the 5-7 position in the standings, which is pretty nice. With 2 pretty much guaranteed losses to come on the road, I don't see us finishing any better than 10-8, and realistically I can see us at 8-10, which should keep us out of Thursday provided ISU-red or Missouri St. doesn't go on a tear.

For now, all is good in Brave-land, and we are a happy group of Braves!!!

I think it would be split among the majority of Valley fans between him and Odum...real difference is that Odum is a true PG and Lemon is not. And the Valley has loved Odum since his freshman year.

Both guys are the heart and soul of the team and I'd shudder to think where each team would be without them...BU would definitely be battling for last place with the Salukis right now.

Maniscalco was pretty tough-nosed and clutch, but Lemon just has taken it to a different level this season.
Aside from a non-so-hot 30% 3-point pct. from downtown, he is solid in every aspect of this game...
scoring, rebounding, mid-range shooting, defense, FT shooting, and lately - finding the open man.
Turnovers will always be rampant as long as he's our PG, but with 4 or less, it's to be expected and not a detriment with all his other great qualities.

Because they've never seen a BU victory over ISU.

Still pathetic and lame. Considering BU students don't even go to the games unless it's ISU, for most it was the first and only win some of them will ever see. :)
